Pastor Brian Bontrager

Senior Pastor

Pastor Brian Bontrager, his wife, Chris, and their two daughters, Nicole and Emily, came to Clarinda in April of 1995. He served as youth pastor for five and a half years under Senior Pastor David Miller. He was then called to serve as an associate pastor in Niles, Michigan where he stayed for four years. In the summer of 2004, Pastor Brian and his family returned to Clarinda and he served as associate pastor until January 1, 2006 when he assumed the role of senior pastor.

It is Pastor Brian's heart to see God's people experience and live in all that Christ Jesus has provided for us as His followers. He is committed to the ministry of the Word as it, empowered by the Holy Spirit alone, is able to lead us to be transformed into the likeness of Christ Jesus. This will enable us to fulfill man's highest calling of bringing glory to the Lord Jesus Christ.
